Things To Do

Siem Reap province is located in northwest Cambodia. It is a World Heritage centre and a major tourist hub being close to Angkor Wat and the temples of Angkor north of the city. The provincial capital is also named Siem Reap. It is located to the north on the shores of Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia. The core attraction is Angkor Wat. However, Siem Reap also offers ‘hidden’ treasures…sensual Apsara dance and fiery Bokator martial arts, the floating village at Kampong Phluk, silk farms, butterfly parks and crocodile pens, ox cart tours, biking and walking tours and contemporary attractions including Phare, The Cambodian Circus; folk dance performances, colonial-era shop house boutiques, the Old Market, Night Market Pub Street and Local Street food, a bright colourful walking street area with alleyways of micro cafes and cosy bars.

Once a city of one million people but largely abandoned until rediscovery in the mid 19th century, Angkor Wat remains a breathtaking temple complex of towers and halls covering 400 square kilometres. There are also hundreds of other temples to explore including Angkor Thom and the Bayon Temple with its Terrace of the Leper King; Banteay Srey, and Ta Prohm, made famous in the Tomb Raider movie, a mysterious temple seemingly held together by tree roots strangling its stonework face.

Discover the incredible Khmer Empire and create a single magical day and more at Angkor Wat and temples. A range of private and public tours are available to suit your stay. The following tours and activity packages are offered as standard, but guests are invited to choose individual elements to create a tailor-made package of their choice.
